About this lecture
To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Molière, Sorbonne University has planned a historically informed interpretation of his last and most ambitious theatrical play: Le Malade Imaginaire (1673). Mickaël Bouffard tells about this project in which declamation, gesture, dance, music, costumes and sets will be reconstructed following the practices and techniques of the second half of the seventeenth century.
