About this documentary
From August 28 to September 6, the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht is all about England, my England. Based on the festival theme, presenter Lex Bohlmeijer takes the viewer on an intriguing journey through the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque England in a two-part documentary, and relates this to Utrecht then and now.
Episode 1 offers a look at the inner city churches of Utrecht, and we visit the source of inspiration for this festival: the English estate Boughton House, where the Duke of Buccleuch shows us around.
