About this documentary
From August 28 to September 6, the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht is all about England, my England. Based on the festival theme, presenter Lex Bohlmeijer takes the viewer on an intriguing journey through the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque England in a two-part documentary, and relates this to Utrecht then and now.
In episode 2, we dive deeper into Utrecht's Angilican past and introduce festival musicians such as Benjamin Bagby and Skip Sempé. We also speak The Newcastle Kingsmen, who will perform the traditional folk dance Rapper (with swords) at the festival.
