About this concert

Following the example of orators who tried to move their listeners with vivid descriptions, Renaissance composers experimented with rhythms and harmonies to evoke mental images. I Fedeli and Ivo Haun de Oliveira use music by composers such as Willaert, Josquin and Clemens non Papa to paint musical portraits of the courtier in love, the grieving one and the pious one.

In 2009 I Fedeli won first prize at the International Young Artist's Presentation in Antwerp.
