About this concert
Luxurious armchairs, coquettish tabourets, commodes with curled legs: Regency style combines spirit with refinement, natural motifs with exotic materials and classical techniques with new decorative arts. The music of Quentin and Guillemain also excels in originality and grace. The young chamber music stars of Nevermind hand the floor over to these pioneers who spice up French finesse with a generous helping of Italian flair.

About the performers
The love of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century music from all corners of the world brought Anna Besson (flute), Louis Creac'h (violin), Robin Pharo (viola da gamba) and Jean Rondeau (harpsichord) together in 2013 in Nevermind. One year later the ensemble won both third prize and the audience prize at the International Van Wassenaer Competition. The foursome has released three CDs to date, devoted respectively to Guillemain/Quentin, Telemann and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
