The International Van Wassenaer Competition challenges young ensembles to give the best of themselves in a thrilling competition. With fascinating Baroque programmes, compelling  performances and technical tours de force, they try to charm the jury and the audience. Discover the stars of tomorrow and cheer on your favourites. The best ensembles battle for gold in the final on Friday 2 September 2022.

About the performers

Matylda Adamus and Anastasiya Akinfina formed Duo l'Anima in 2021 to highlight little-heard composers from the early eighteenth century. They have since broadened their focus to duo repertoire from the nineteenth century.
