The International Van Wassenaer Competition challenges young ensembles to give the best of themselves in a thrilling competition. About the performers

Ensemble Simrock takes its name from the music publisher, horn player and close friend of Beethoven, Nikolaus Simrock. The trio experiments with various nineteenth-century performance practices, such as tempo changes and rhythmic distortions.
