The International Van Wassenaer Competition challenges young ensembles to give the best of themselves in a thrilling competition. The best ensembles battle for gold in the final on Friday 2 September 2022.

About the performers

Amsterdam-based ensemble PuraCorda focuses on the historically informed interpretation of unknown and forgotten repertoire from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including by female composers. In 2022, they were selected as Rising Ensemble within the European early music talent project Eeemerging+.
