About this concert
The theme of the Rococo? Arcadia: a green paradise of plenty, where the sun always shines, birds chirp a charming background song and love is tender and innocent. With the musette – the most elegant member of the bagpipe family – as their guide, Jean-Pierre Van Hees and Bach Academie Alden Biesen traverse the Late Baroque utopia of Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Nicolas Chédeville and contemporaries.
