About this concert

'Such excellent compositions for keyboard had never before been seen and heard,' Bach biographer Johann Nikolaus Forkel wrote of Bach's six partitas for keyboard. Yet the way to this Baroque giant's colourful counterpoint had already been paved by Johann Krieger - wrongly forgotten, and the darling of Cologne-based Tatjana Vorobjova. She further completes her programme with Scarlatti's most lilting sonatas.
