Toccami l'anima! Keyboard playing should touch the soul deeply: that is the premise of Maestro Mencoboni's solo recital. It becomes nothing less than a declaration of love, this selection of German-style harpsichord repertoire ranging from suites by Froberger and Buxtehude to Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

About the performer
Marco Mencoboni is a harpsichordist, organist and musicologist. He is active as soloist and continuo player in several Italian ensembles. With his Cantar Lontano, founded in 2007, he aims to drag unknown Renaissance composers out of obscurity. He was artist in residence of the Utrecht Early Music Festival 2019.
