About this concert

Long before Bach, Beethoven and Chopin, there was already a host of keyboard genres and instrument types available. Corina Marti has been delving into this early repertoire for decades and is a driving force behind the revival of the clavicimbalum, ancestor of both the harpsichord and pianoforte. Marti gets to work on two mechanisms in music by Dufay, da Firenze, de Grudencz and other (anonymous) masters.
