About the performers

Anahí consists of Argentine soprano Gaia Alelí Szames and Italian harpist Michela Amici. Szames began her early music studies at the Conservatorio de Música Manuel de Falla in Buenos Aires. She possesses enormous artistic versatility with her voice, as evidenced by her participation in projects featuring both early medieval music and contemporary music. Amici obtained her master's degree in harp cum laude from the G. Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro in Italy in 2015. Three years later, she completed a specialisation in ‘new audiences and innovative practices’. Both of Anahí's musicians also studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
