About the performers

Founded in April 2024, Trio Ekhos focuses on historically informed performances of classical and romantic chamber music for piano trio. After winning third prize at the À Tre competition in Trossingen that same year, Ayaka Watanabe, Angie Agudelo and Violeta Mur continued their exploration of works by Haydn, Mozart, Hummel, Schubert and the Schumanns, striking a balance between authenticity, creativity and expressive freedom.
