About this concert
Pupil of Jean-Baptiste Lully, friend of Arcangelo Corelli, colleague of Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber… have you heard of Georg Muffat? It is completely unfair that the French German got lost in the folds of music history, so thought the new Dutch early music group The Little Concert. They dedicated their Utrecht debut to Armonico Tributo: the collection of concerti grossi that does not hide its inspiration by Corelli’s examples.
